This is spoilery!
Am I the only one who was crying by the end of episode 47? I honestly almost couldn't finish it because Phillip was so resigned but resolute, and Shotaro was just... broken. Seeing the two of them like that, and having no way to comfort each other just broke my heart. It was bad enough when Phillip called to say goodbye, but now, with it having to be drawn out and face to face it's seems so much worse. Though I don't think I'll ever get the image of Shotaro sliding down the wall in despair when he heard Phillip say goodbye out of my head. This time, though, Ryu was even upset (and conscious! that's a plus)! The surprise party was a nice touch. I can't wait to see what Shotaro's present will be! And did anyone else notice Shotaro tearing up whenever he talked to Phillip, and actually crying during the conversation with Shroud? After Terror, he was still able to function, but I'm not sure he'll be able to anymore if Phillip actually dies. What I'm kind of hoping is that Phillip's conscious will be in Shotaro's body. Any way it turns out, I'll probably be a mess on the floor when the next episode comes out :(.
