Honestly almost threw up during the Champions League match today!!!

I will say upfront that I was surprised Nani got a red card, but I don't think it's entirely unjustified. That was dangerous play, no argument. When the same thing happened in the World Cup final, I thought that should have been a red (despite the fact that I wanted Spain to lose for beating Germany). I don't believe Nani meant to hit Arbeloa (like De Jong did, I feel), but the ref isn't inside his head, and a studs up karate kick to the chest should have serious consequences. I was surprised, though, especially since De Jong got away with a yellow in South Africa.

But whatever! I'll be over here in my corner yelling that we totally could have come back and won even without the card. We were looking livelier, and I think the goal definitely woke us up. A substantial amount of the game was played in United's half. And I think it says something that even their goal was scored by us. They had a multitude of chances, even with 10 men, and the finishing was lacking. Plus, Diego Lopez was a godsend. I love Adan, and he's pulled through for us before, but I don't really think he could have made all of those saves.

So, it's been a week, and already I've watched the entire season of Kamen Rider W/Double (so far, and it's so far tied with Ryuki as my fav Kamen Rider EVER! Mostly because it's adorable and angsty and fun and heartbreaking and has four awesome people in it.) and have gotten through the first 16 episodes of Kamen Rider Decade, along with getting up to episode 33 in GaoRanger. I'm almost halfway through a small fic for Boukenger, and have another one started. I haven't written this much since school ended!

And that reminds me, it starts up again as of next Monday, meaning I go back this Saturday. :P Not a fan. I'll watch more Decade to try and make it better.

I finished Boukenger last night. Technically this morning, I suppose. Honest to god, I was getting choked up for the last five or six episodes. My heart was in my throat, and I knew it would all end up alright, but that still didn't help! BoukenBlack is probably my favorite character, and his evolution throughout the series killed me! I love his relationship with Natsuki (though I don't ship them, I see how some people could), and think it's probably one of the sweetest male/female relationships I've seen on Sentai. Also, Satoru/Eiji FTW!!! Eiji was so wishing he could be the one to stow away with Chief :))). More reaction to come later, methinks, because I'm going to start watching Gao before I have to go to work :).

Ok, I'm slightly more coherent than I was last night, so I will put up my thoughts on the ep and also touch on the sensitive subject of Daddy Dearest. Here we go.
