So I had the band concert on Thursday and we did pretty damn good. This is the upper band for Catonsville and the people in it are fucking talented. I love being a part of it, though I do get frustrated when we aren't where we need to be. However, this is the most rushed concert of the season, methinks, so we shouldn't have a problem with any of the others.
My presentation on the Battle of Tours (/Poitiers) was moved from Friday to Monday. The poster is almost all done and I finished the write-up Saturday evening. The presentation has to be 5 to 7 minutes and I think I have that time down easy. Course, I'm now coming down with the cold that has brought down half of my family (meaning my brother and mom). But there is no fucking way I can miss school this week. It's the last week of presentations and I have to be there to see them if I want to pass GT World.
This is the problem that comes with being in all GT and Honors classes. They move so quickly that even if the students are deathly ill, we're all there, just puking all over the place because our grades depend on it. Very inspiring, but also slightly suicidal. Especially since our school has no heat as of yet, and every classroom I'm in is the same temperature as it is outside *headdesk*.
On a more positive note, here are all the movies I want to see:
