I'm finally home from school, after staying an extra week to watch my cousin graduate (!!!!). I'm so proud of her! She's planning on returning to China to teach English since she loved it so much while studying abroad this summer. Thankfully, it will probably be next year so that she can make our other cousin's wedding (!!!!!!!). We're all growing up :(.
Got my grades back and did decently: 3 A's, 2 B's. I'll be working to improve that next semester (yes, I'm one of those people (and I think I'm abusing parentheses)), but it's gonna be a tough one again. Right now, the plan is: Piano 1 (for music major), Music History 1 (since I took History 2 last semester, that makes sense...), Sex Crimes (for my criminal justice minor), History and Contemporary Issues (last class for psychology major!), and German 3 (for fun). And I have lessons and ensemble to keep up with. Seems doable, so we'll see how things pan out in September.
Looking for a job around town, but it seems to be a record low season for hiring school age people (high school or college). I really need a car to get to my ensemble next semester, so a job is really needed to help pay for that. I refuse to go back to Johnny's and be all but verbally abused every time he thinks I haven't met his standards. Really don't think my emotional state can handle coming home from work and crying every other night. Gonna walk to downtown tomorrow and look for Help Wanted signs. Apparently anything in psychology you really need to be licensed for, so there goes that internship idea...
