Today was a day that will live in infamy. Why, you ask? Because I got literally high.
Yes, you read right. I got high. But it wasn't off pot. It wasn't even intentionally. I got high off of the ethanol that we used for a lab in Chemistry.
Ethanol is straight rubbing alcohol. It's not watered down or anything like the regular rubbing alcohol, so it's 10x more potent. We had to use it to do a lab about matter changing form, and while measuring it out into a 10mL graduated cylinder, the fumes hit me right in the face. To make matters worse, when I was holding it at eye level to read the meniscus, alcohol kept falling down the sides, getting right by my face. Needless to say, I inhaled a fuck-load.
5 minutes later, I was feeling weird, but wrote it off as nothing. I went to homeroom, because the lab was right at the end of class, and then I went down to Tech. By now I was three sheets to the wind. Greg only had to take one look at me to ask if I was high. My friends in the class sit in a circle around me, so all of them were talking to me, finding out what had happened. It's all really a blur to me, but Claire raised her hand and told Mr. Gibbs what had happened. After initially not wanting to go to the nurse, I finally gave in, and Greg had to almost carry me. We met Olivia on the way, and she found this incredibly amusing. The nurse herself kept me in the office and called my mom to take me home after I threw up twice, but she says it's really weird to have the symptoms 45 minutes after the inhaling.
My mom came and got me, and as soon as I got home, I fell asleep. When I woke up, I had a huge lunch, and then I went back to sleep. And now it's all out of my system.
I'm looking for a LOST wallpaper, since the new season starts on Wednsday. Haven't been able to find a good one yet. I want one with Charlie and Jack, but no one's made a good one...
