Got to watch Miracle last night!! I don't talk about it much, but one of my absolute favorite stories is the Miracle on Ice game against the Soviets in 1980, and the movie Miracle became one of my favorites as soon as I saw it. One of the fews ones I managed to get my entire family to watch with me. My mom and I watched it last night, but I got so frustrated with some of the places they put commercials. Ugh. Thank god I have the blu-ray. But yeah. Now I'm in a hockey mood, and there's the damn lockout.

Lol! I'm not as passionate about it as I am soccer, but I really do love it. My favorite team would probably be the Washington Capitals, since they're the home (kind of) team, and that basically means that I spend the whole season hoping and praying we can keep the good work up, and then ultimately being crushed when we crash out of the play-offs. Sigh. I also really like the Chicago Blackhawks, since they have my favorite player, Patrick Kane; and I like the Boston Bruins, they probably go under the "cheer for half-heartedly" banner. I feel a bit sorry for Ovechkin, with all that he's had to put up with in the recent seasons. And I think my hate is contained to the New York Rangers. Ugh.

But, yeah! I watch a lot of the national team stuff, not that it comes on a lot.

Booo. No cheering for Boston. I'm not sure why but I just don't like them. My teams are obviously Edmonton Oilers and less obvuously the Phildephia Flyers. I hate the Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, and have mixed feelings about the Montreal Canadians!

As someone who lives in Maryland, I don't think I'm allowed to like Philadelphia teams. We kinda have a ban on the whole state, all thanks to the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have mixed feelings about the Canadians, mostly since I don't know much about them, but I've watched a few games and liked them alright.
