Otakon (sp?)

Ok, so Ene wants me to go to Otakon with her. I asked my mom and she said I could probably go! Yay!!! August 19-21 at the BCC, so it's only about 15 minutes from my house, which is very convienient. It would also be a great way to celebrate the end of summer... Fun!

In regular news, my friend is getting a kidney transfusion on June 20th. I'm happy that he's been able to find a donor, which actually turned out to be my friend's mentor, also from church. We had a party for them after Youth Group today and it was much fun.

Speaking of YG, my friend Heather says she's fallen in love with Ene. I was explaining about Otakon (Heather is a huge anime fan) and how she is an art major at Carver (Heather got accepted into a MICA summer program. She's really good), and Heather became enamored with her. I found it amusing, because Heather is 16 and slightly gothic, though she'd probably kill me if she heard me describing her that way...

Soooo, yah.

Gah! I'm here I'm here! I haven't been on b/c the mother said no comp for Monday thru Thursday because I was getting behind in school *hangs head*.
